Advanced Appointed Person and Refresher Course – Dec 2025

OVERVIEW

It can be difficult to retain ALL of the information you learn and need to know as an Appointed Person/Lift Planner – particularly if you’re not putting it into practice regularly. Even if you are using it regularly, you may find you come up against limitations with the information you’ve learned and your existing knowledge.

This course will help you with all of that. With a refresher of some of the basic technical elements, then building on that with some more advanced methods, as well as helping you to communicate more effectively with your clients, colleagues, managers and lifting team, you will leave this course feeling more empowered and capable as a Lifting Operations Planner.

WHO IS THIS FOR?

Those who are, or have been, qualified or active in a lifting operations planning role, are looking to improve their lift planning knowledge and/or those who are responsible for overseeing lifting operations activities in their place of work.

Candidates must have a functional understanding of basic lift planning practices (such as Uniform Load Method, calculating sling length, referring to load charts, etc.) prior to attending.
